What are News Feeds and RSS?

RSS (Really Simple Syndication) is a method of receiving constantly updated links to our website allowing you to see when we have added new content. Once you have set up a connection to you will receive a list of all the latest information currently shown on a certain page or section of our site.

RSS therefore allows you to get all of your flight information in one place, as soon as its published, without having to visit and check our website on a regular basis when you are searching for your flights.

How do you start using feeds?

The first thing you need is something called a news reader. This is a piece of software that checks the feeds and lets you read any new articles that have been added. There are many different versions, some of which are accessed using a browser, and some of which are downloadable applications.

Once you have chosen a news reader, all you have to do is to decide what content you want it to receive. For example, if you would like the latest flight offers we have for the next 31 days, simply visit the cheap flight section of the website and you will notice an orange button on the page. If you click on the orange button, you will be taken to the feed where you can browse it on our website or add it to your own news reader.

If you want to view the news feed in your own website based reader such as Google reader or a software based reader click on the RSS button and you can subscribe to the feed in various ways, including by dragging the URL of the feed into your news reader or by cutting and pasting the same URL into a new feed in your news reader.
