Flights to Cyprus "popular" among British holidaymakers
Cyprus is a popular holiday destination for British travellers, it has been claimed.

Post Office reports that the Cyprus pound is in the company's top ten most popular currencies list.
Furthermore, sales of the denomination in 2007 put the country in a selection of the ten fastest growing holiday destinations list.
"We know that [Cyprus] is among the most popular holiday choices for our customers," commented Post Office head of travel services Helen Warburton.
However, she added that as the country has now switched currency to the euro, "holidaymakers planning trips to Cyprus or Malta/' alt="Search for Flights to Malta">Malta would be well advised to keep abreast of news about price rises".
According to Post Office, costs for Brits holidaying in Cyprus are currently lower than those in other countries which have adopted the euro such as France and Spain.
Ms Warburton expressed her hope that prices would not "rocket" in Cyprus following its own currency switch.
Cyprus adopted the euro as its official coinage in January 2008.
