Cross-India car tour stops in Goa
A unique touring event by Mercedes across India has made its first stop in Goa

The India Trail began on September 17th at Pune, featuring a range of diesel cars including the S-Class, C-Class, E-Class, M-Class, the Bio-diesel C-Class and the Viano.
The entourage of seven cars will cover more than 40,000 km in the pan-Indian drive which is scheduled to end on October 10th.
They stopped in Goa's capital city Panaji today.
The tour will cover large parts of south, west and northern India. It is intended to promote the combined pleasures of quality automotive technology and beautiful landscapes.
Speaking at a press conference, Dr Wilfried Aulbur, managing director and chief executive officer at DaimlerChrysler India, claimed that the cars were powerful, economical and environment-friendly.
He added that these factors made them the obvious choice for the drive.
