Ostersund

Ostersund is surrounded by mountains and situated on Lake Storsjon - one of the largest lakes in Sweden. Take time to stroll around the city visiting the small harbour and Budhusparken Park. Visit the open air Jamtli museum too. Ostersund is perfectly situated for day trips to places such as the mountain resort town of Are, on the Inland railway, or over to Trondheim in Norway. Or you could just relax and enjoy the local activities.
