Kuusamo

Set amidst the rugged natural beauty or north-east Finland this area is renowned for its picturesque location. Treks, safaris, wilderness trips and shooting the rapids are just some of the elements which bring visitors here year after year. There is a skiing centre perfect for spending the day at, and in the summer why not play midnight golf in Ruka while in the winter ice golf is popular.

Rovaniemi

Rovaniemi, located near the Arctic Circle, is Santa Claus's hometown. This is the perfect place to take the kids, or if you're still one yourself, why not go with a partner or group of friends to experience for yourself the majestic wonder of meeting Santa Claus and his elves in person. You can even take a reindeer ride! The atmosphere of Christmas is present in Rovaniemi all year round but the best time to visit is during November-January when you can truly feel in the Christmas spirit if things. You could even take a day trip. However long you choose to stay, this is a majestical place filled with excitement and the hustle and bustle of Santa's helpers.
