Barbados
Barbados has always been popular with British visitors, perhaps because of its long sandy beaches, wide choice of restaurants and shops, or maybe just the relaxed way of life. Barbados is a lot more developed than some other Caribbean islands and gives the opportunity to try many different cuisines at it wonderful restaurants. There is the opportunity to try jet-skiing, scuba diving, windsurfing and many other water sports, ad there are a wide number of glorious beaches to choose from. Often the choice of celebrities, Barbados also has an exciting night life. There are many bars and restaurants and several night clubs to choose from. The capital Bridgetown is situated on Carlisle Bay and creates a beautiful picture as it is the island only natural harbour. It is an English-influenced island and it is interesting to see that some traditions still remain - for example dressing for dinner and afternoon tea...Barbados provides the perfect holiday with something for everyone.
Grenada
Another beautiful island, Grenada has plenty to offer. Its long sandy beaches provide the perfect place to relax, whilst there is also the opportunity to visit some of its spectacular waterfalls deep in amongst the rainforest. The landscape is striking, with many mountains and spice trees, and Grenada really is a romantic location. A very scenic location, Grenada's capital, St. George's is lovely and is well worth a visit, and it is built around a pretty harbour filled with multi-coloured houses. St. George's is the best place to shop or if its bars and restaurants you are after; the boatyard at L'Anse aux Epines is the place to go.
Jamaica
There are numerous white, sandy clear-watered beaches in Jamaica but it also offers a great deal more. With every watersport you can imagine as well as the opportunity to play golf, tennis or even horse-ride, Jamaica provides many activities to keep you, or your children occupied. On the other hand, there are many shops and local markets and many bars, restaurants, night clubs and festivals. There are beautiful waterfalls and even the chance to try rafting on the Rio Grande. Montego Bay is a popular resort with a wide range of activities, and if visiting in April you will be able to watch the Miami to Montego yacht race. Negril has possibly the best beach on the island, but wherever you stay the beach is sure to be fabulous.
Margarita
Margarita lies just off the coast of South America, the island has a Spanish colonial history and a Latin American atmosphere. With stunning beaches and a rugged, mountainous landscape, Margarita is a beautiful destination for a holiday. You may choose to visit Margarita's neighbouring island Coche. It is important to note that the sea on the north and east coasts are not recommended for swimming due to string waves, but El Yaque on the south coast offers some of the best beaches in the Caribbean. The food on the island is fantastic and the nightlife ranges from low-key bars, to night clubs in Porlamer.
St. Kitts
St. Kitts is one of the quieter resorts in the Caribbean with quiet, uncrowded beaches and agriculture being a dominant part of the economy rather than tourism. When visiting St. Kitts you are sure to experience the true Caribbean way of life and discover and unspoiled culture. Tobago
