Charter Flights to Cape Verde from the UK

Cape Verde is a beautiful beach worshipers paradise. This volcanic archipelago of 10 islands is situated south of the canaries and was until recently a well guarded secret. However its tropical climate and pristine white beaches are now making it the place to be seen. The language is a mixture of Portuguese with African influences, with music from Africa and Brazil making for a wonderful and exotic cultural mixture.

Boa Vista

Boa Vista (Portuguese for "Good View") is generally considered to be better value and less developed than the neighboring island of Sal, however this is about to change over the next few years, so now is a great time to visit. The main attraction of Boa Vista is the miles upon miles of white sandy beaches, perfect for swimming, diving or fishing. Boa Vista is famous for marine turtles, traditional music, and the ultra-marathon. The main town is Sal Rei, where the ferry port and airport is located.

Praia

Praia (Portuguese for beach) is the Capital of the Cape Verde Archipelago, situated on the South Eastern shore of the island of Sao Tiago. It has a large seaport, where you can buy fresh fish, including large tuna. This interesting town with a quaint plateau has a growing tourist industry with its access to marvellous white sandy beaches.

Sal

You can fly directly to the island Sal, which has endless white sandy beaches - arguably the best in the Cape Verde islands. In the main town of Santa Maria there is a wide range of shops selling everything from African imported gifts to French Couture. There are plenty of water sports to enjoy and the laid back friendly attitude of the locals make for a relaxing stay.
