places on the Costa de la Luz, Chiclana is bright. Its coastline and

tourist destination for vacations in Spain. Chiclana has strong
associations with wine and wine culture. It was once, one of the most

become popular tourist attractions. Wine lovers come from all over to
sample the product and learn about the history. Our wine making process
is very traditional; we’ve been using the same methods for centuries.

main plazas.Another spectacular beach, a wide bay of brilliant yellow
sand stretching as far as the eye can see. Head for El Palmar beach for

Matalascañas is a popular, modern resort, located in a beautiful area of
extensive coastal dunes and sandy beaches. Despite the village's
tasteless high-rise development, which is one of the worst along the
Huelva stretch of the Costa de la Luz, Matalascañas has some redeeming
features; namely, its beach and its proximity to the Parque Nacional de
Donaña. Its long and wide beach, the Playa de Castilla, extends for
40km from the Guadalquivir estuary southeast of Matalascañas to Mazagón
in the northeast. The best beach nearest the centre of Matalascañas is
at Torre de la Higuera, just west of the village. The main part of the
beach in Matalascañas itself has excellent facilities including
lifeguards, showers, hire of parasols and deckchairs. In the summer
there are many chiringuitos (beach bars). Running alongside the main
beach in the village is a 4km-long promenade, the Paseo Marítimo, lined
with good fish restaurants. All the way along the coast to Mazagón from
Matalascañas are stunning fossilized dunes, which you can explore on
foot in the Parque Dunar or at the Cuesta de Maneli.

Holidays in Tarifa, Spain
- Ten kilometres of white sandy beaches, unspoilt countryside and some of the best windsurfing conditions in Europe.
Ten kilometres of white sandy beaches, unspoilt countryside and some of
the best windsurfing conditions in Europe have established Tarifa as a
true surfers paradise. Just 11 km across the Straits of Gibraltar at its
narrowest point, this southern-most tip of Europe where the Med meets
the Atlantic Ocean, enjoys spectacular views of the Rif mountains of
Africa across the water. Tarifa's wild coastline attracts surfers and
nature-lovers alike. Just as famous for its birdwatching as its surfing,
there are endless opportunities to explore the rolling countryside.
Horse-riding, hang-gliding, kite-surfing, rock-climbing and diving to
name but a few. The narrow cobbled streets, tumbling jasmine and
beautiful wrought-iron rejas make Tarifa old town a charming place for a
stroll. The original castellated city walls of this ancient town are
tightly woven into the fabric of the whitewashed houses. However, much
of what we see today was constructed in the 18th Century. A pretty town
with a harbour with some bars cafes and restaurants, Tarifa is very
popular with couples and families.
